Peony Root-Do Tell

Early, prolific, fast-growing, and gorgeous, the Japanese-style Do Tell is one of the most unique peonies on my farm. It's always a race--will Do Tell or the corals bloom first? In late April I can usually declare the winner.

Do Tell is an anemone form peony. Soft pink petals surround a wild and completely unpredictable center of smaller petals. Sometimes there are hot pink streaks, sometimes it's all cream, sometimes gold flecks. It varies from plant to plant and season to season, and it's always a fascinating show. About 32" mature height.

Peonies are perennials, and will need a space about 3' x 3'. They will usually begin blooming by the third year after planting. The roots we sell here have 3-5 eyes and are the same size and quality that I plant on my peony farm.

This listing is for one peony bare root. It is not potted and is not a growing plant. Planting dormant roots in the fall allows the peony plant to grow lots of feeder roots over the cool months to feed lush top growth in the spring.

This peony root has been grown on the farm and its variety verified. Refunds will only be made if it can be determined there's been a mistake on the part of The Peony Fields.
